Off-The-Road (OTR) Tyre
Off Highway Tyres (OHT) represent a highly specialised segment, requiring advanced engineering and the ability to deliver reliable, versatile performance across demanding agricultural and industrial applications. The development and manufacture of OHT are capital-intensive and technically complex, involving long development cycles, significant R&D and substantial investment.
Since 2008, we have been committed to building OHT capabilities. Key milestones include production of Sailun's first giant radial OTR tyre at the Qingdao factory in 2009, followed by successful development of the world's largest 63-inch giant radial OTR tyre in 2016, marking a significant global industry achievement.
Today, STE boasts a comprehensive range of OHT products, spanning giant radial OTR tyres, medium and small radial OTR tyres, agricultural tyres, bias OTR tyres, and solid tyres. With over 2,000 product specifications and dedicated end-to-end OHT manufacturing systems in place, STE continues to deliver robust, high-performance solutions for the world's most demanding working environments.

EcoPoint3 – Redefining Tyre Performance
EcoPoint3 was developed following more than a decade of independent research and development. Designed to deliver improved fuel efficiency, enhanced wear resistance and shorter braking distances, EcoPoint3 represents a major advancement in tyre performance and sustainability.
At the core of EcoPoint3 is our liquid-phase mixing technology which successfully overcomes the industry’s long-standing “magic triangle” challenge — balancing rolling resistance, wet grip and wear performance. This innovation has enabled measurable improvements across all three parameters, earning EcoPoint3 the highest A/A rating under the EU Tyre Labelling Regulation and recognition from multiple international authorities. The technology has been widely acknowledged as a milestone innovation within the global rubber and tyre industry.
EcoPoint3 passenger car tyres (PCR), tested by Applus+ IDIADA, achieved the highest AA-level certification for rolling resistance and wet grip under EU regulations. EcoPoint3 truck and bus tyres (TBR) were recognised with the “Energy Pioneer Award” from TÜV Rheinland, with one PCR and three TBR products receiving TÜV MARK certification simultaneously.
